Discover no ordinary classroom
A classroom with a difference, discover two experiences for one excursion at the MCG. Whether your school is looking for a day filled with activities at the MCG, or only has a limited time, we can offer an inclusive excursion experience for all students, of all capabilities.
A visit to the Australian Sports Museum is a self-guided experience full of interaction and exploration. We recommend 90-minutes for your school here, where students can take 60-minutes to explore the museum before spending 30-minutes to play in Game On!
An MCG Tour is led by an MCC volunteer, where students are taken on a 60-minute tour of the stadium.
We offer free admission for one supervisor per 10 students and $15 per additional supervisor. Please note, there needs to be 1 teacher with duty of care per 10 students. The teacher retains duty of care and responsibility of behaviour of students.

Meet An Olympian Returns
Discover an interactive Olympic experience at the Australian Sports Museum and the home of the 1956 Olympics, the MCG.
This year, the Australian Sports Museum is hosting the ultimate Meet an Olympian program at the MCG. Schools are invited to book in for a discussion (30 minutes per booking) with an Australian Olympian and hear about their hardships and successes endured to excel and reach the top of their sport.
Make a booking today to immerse your students in learning about the Australian Olympic journey and enhance your visit with an Olympic themed tour of the MCG.
What does it really take to tell a good story? Join us for an interactive online session aimed at teaching students a new perspective on storytelling. Our storytelling expert, Tom Reed will share the techniques used to train our Volunteers on the award winning MCG Tour, and how students can bring this into their own work.
The session will delve into understanding the reason why you want to tell the story, and how you best tell it to keep your audience engaged.
Availability: Successful Storytelling will be available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Sessions are available at 11am or 2pm time slot.
