Discover more about the excursion offerings available at the MCG & Australian Sports Museum – Melbourne’s most exciting classroom.
Our excursions are an inclusive experience for students to explore and enrich their learning, with options to suit a variety of ages and curriculum areas. Students can even hear from an Australian Olympian, Paralympian or Special Olympian with our Meet An Olympian program!
We’ve curated this special event to provide teachers with the opportunity to explore our purpose built education space, experience our excursion offerings, and to ask our friendly staff questions.
The event will incorporate the below:
- Australian Sports Museum
- MCG Tour
- Meet an Olympian
- Indigenous Trail
The best part is it’s a FREE event and you are welcome to bring up to three children FREE of charge. Teachers must hold a valid VIT card.

- Location: Australian Sports Museum, inside Gate 3 at the MCG
